Cambria 2021 Julia’s Vineyard Pinot Noir
Ripe blackberry and blueberry open into cranberry, wild cherry and bright pomegranate. The palate balances generous red and dark fruit with earthy depth, baking spice and firm tannins, retaining a cool coastal poise beneath the richness. Long and composed through the finish, it is a polished match for mushroom dishes, roast chicken, grilled salmon or mild cheeses.
Union Sacré 2022 Sylvaner Santa Maria Valley
Pear flesh, lime curd, lychee, white melon and citrus appear in a dry white wine with a grippy texture. White flowers, Granny Smith apple and Asian pear are also present. The fruit is pressed directly using a four-hour light-pressure cycle. Fermentation takes place on fine lees for three weeks at 55°F, followed by ageing in 500-litre neutral wood puncheons. The wine is bottled unfiltered.
Bien Nacido Estate 2019 Pinot Noir Santa Maria Valley
Black tea, mandarin and fresh cherry appear with sage and exotic spice. The palate has suave tannins and further spice. The Pinot Noir was harvested by hand at night, fermented with native yeast and completed malolactic fermentation. It matured for sixteen months in French oak, half of it new, and was bottled without fining or filtration. The selected vineyard blocks were planted in nineteen seventy-three, nineteen ninety-six and two thousand six.
Belle Glos 2018 Clark & Telephone Vineyard Pinot Noir 1.5L (Magnum)
Deep ruby with scarlet highlights, opening on cranberry, raspberry jam, clove and cedar. Holiday baking spice adds warmth without obscuring the fruit. The palate is rich and lively, building through crushed ripe cherry, cranberry and blueberry pie. Bold in flavour yet structured, it carries a gentle smoky sweetness into a warm, lingering finish.
