Ferdinand’s Saar Red Vermouth
German Fortified
Sour cherry, dark berries and red flowers lead a full, aromatic nose, with green walnut and savoury herbs adding depth. The palate is fruit-forward yet firmly structured, balancing Riesling freshness with plum, lingonberry and a distinctive walnut bitterness. Thyme, rosemary and warming spice build through the middle without obscuring the fruit. The finish is smooth, long and gently bitter. Serve lightly chilled over ice, or use it in a Martinez, Manhattan or richer Negroni variation.
Ferdinand’s Saar Rosé Vermouth
German Fortified
Riesling freshness frames a bright mix of rhubarb, vineyard peach and bitter orange, with cranberry and elderflower adding colour and lift. The palate is floral and fruit-led, balancing juicy red berry and citrus notes with measured herbal bitterness. Passion flower gives the middle a delicate aromatic touch, while the structure stays crisp and lightly sweet. The finish is clean, bittersweet and refreshing. Serve chilled over ice, topped with tonic or sparkling wine.
Ferdinand’s Saar Dry Vermouth
German Fortified
White grape leads a dry but subtly sweet palate, framed by the elegant bitterness of wormwood. Coriander adds a peppery accent, while thyme remains light and aromatic. Riesling and a botanical base rest in large oak casks for several months, allowing the wine, herbs and gentle bitterness to settle together. The finish remains gently drying, herbal and lightly spiced.
