Gilbert 2021 Riesling Pétillant-Naturel
Fresh apple and citrus lead this naturally sparkling Riesling, with lemon curd and a lightly savoury note adding depth. A fine, energetic bead carries the fruit across a dry, textured palate, while bright acidity keeps the finish clean and refreshing. Serve well chilled with oysters, fried seafood, spicy noodles, sushi or fresh vegetable dishes and casual snacks.
McWilliam’s Stolen Colt Shiraz
Deep red-purple colour accompanies rich aromas of blackberry, plum and black cherry. Black pepper, liquorice and smooth vanilla oak sit beside soft, fleshy tannins in a full-bodied profile. Made from Shiraz, the wine carries fourteen percent alcohol and comes from New South Wales in Australia. Suggested pairings include grilled steak, barbecued ribs and aged cheddar.
Gilbert Family Wines 2021 Pétillant-Naturel Rosé
Cloudy and bright pink, with a fine bead, this Sangiovese pét-nat brings watermelon, strawberry leaf, pear, sour cherry and chalky mineral notes. It is dry, fruit-driven and refreshing, with a chalky texture and vibrant, lively sparkle. The grapes come from Mudgee in New South Wales, and the finished wine is bottled at twelve percent alcohol.
