Lindores MCDXCIV Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Mellow vanilla and caramel lead an elegant, softly fruited aroma, followed by orchard fruit and sweet pear drops. The palate is silky and creamy, balancing dried fruit with bright citrus and a restrained touch of spice. Toffee-apple richness gives the whisky depth without heaviness, while the finish is delicate, gently sweet and persistent. Serve neat or with a little water.
Hamilton’s Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Light and grassy in classic Lowland fashion, with fresh barley, soft florals and a restrained touch of vanilla on the nose. The palate is clean and malt-led, favouring gentle cereal sweetness and green, grassy notes over heavy oak or smoke. A modest peppery warmth adds shape through the middle while the texture remains direct and approachable. The finish is smooth and lightly warming, leaving malt, grass and a faint vanilla note behind. A straightforward pour for lighter-whisky drinkers.
Auchentoshan 1988 PX Sherry Cask Finish
Triple distillation and a Pedro Ximénez sherry-cask finish create a rich Lowland whisky with stewed plum, red berries and cooked nectarine on the nose. Maraschino cherry, toffee, caramel, rose and cinnamon deepen the aromatics, while raisin, prune, fig, Muscat grape and dark chocolate shape the palate. Sweet sherry richness is balanced by oak and gentle tannin. Serve neat.
