A clear amber colour introduces a fresh, composed nose, with orchard fruit, vanilla and gentle oak developing as it opens. The palate is rounded and balanced, combining ripe fruit, measured sweetness and warm spice with a clean structural line. Maturation for at least eight years in oak—well beyond the minimum required for the designation—adds depth without making the spirit heavy. The finish returns to freshness, with fruit and soft wood spice lingering. Serve neat after dinner or alongside an almond tart.
