Ēkhô 2023 Red Limnio
Greek Red
Limnio comes from one of Limnos's last ungrafted vineyards, where vines exceed eighty years of age. Pomegranate and currant appear with mint, bay leaf and rhubarb. The wine has a light-to-medium mouthfeel, supple tannins and a vivid finish. It is a dry, still red with thirteen percent alcohol. The low-yield bush vines grow on sandy soil of volcanic origin near the sea.
Ekho 2022 Aegean Islands White Blend
Greek White
Intense straw-yellow colour accompanies apricot, light citrus, thyme and iodine notes. Savoury, fresh and tense character appears with an almond detail. Potamisi, Aidani and Karaibraim come from old, ungrafted vines on volcanic terraces on Naxos. Fermentation is spontaneous in stainless steel, followed by ten months on fine lees in steel without wood. The wine contains 13 percent alcohol.
Ekho 2023 Aegean Islands Rose
Greek Rosé
Soft pink and quietly aromatic, led by floral notes rather than overt fruit. Pronounced acidity gives the palate a crisp, taut shape, while subtle spice, lees ageing and partial fermentation in acacia bring texture and complexity without heaviness. Light-bodied, dry and elegant, it finishes clean and restrained. Serve well chilled with shellfish, grilled vegetables, mezze or lightly spiced seafood.
