Selection
Moulin Blanc 2019 Montagne Saint Emilion
An understated Right Bank Bordeaux with pure red cherry and violet aromas. The palate is medium-bodied and composed, with crisp acidity giving the fruit freshness and fine, chewy tannins adding shape through the finish. Refined rather than showy, it benefits from a little air and pairs neatly with roast lamb, duck, mushrooms or firm cheese.
Moulin Borie 2015 Listrac Medoc
An elegant Listrac-Médoc with blackcurrant, blackberry and dark cherry, accented by subtle cedar and spice. The palate is medium- to full-bodied, with refined tannins and balanced acidity shaping the dark fruit without hardening it. Long and savoury through the finish, it is well matched with roast beef, lamb, mushrooms or mature hard cheese.
Moulin Touchais Coteaux du Layon 1998
Brilliant gold in the glass, with rich apricot, baked apple and dried fruit joined by honeyed spice and a subtle botrytised complexity. The palate is luscious yet disciplined, balancing mature sweetness with a bright seam of acidity and gently savoury depth. Long and poised on the finish, it is excellent with blue cheese, tarte tatin or fruit-based desserts.
Moulin Touchais Coteaux du Layon 2002
Bright gold and wonderfully lively, with peach, papaya and melon layered over lemon zest, white flowers, honey, apricot and spiced orange peel. The palate is ripe and creamy but never heavy, its sweetness held in check by vivid acidity and a clean mineral line. Persistent and refreshing on the finish, it pairs beautifully with foie gras, blue cheese or almond tart.
Moulin Touchais Coteaux du Layon 2007
Unctuous yet vibrant, with honey, baked apple, saffron, guava and mango lifted by dusty lemon, dried herbs, grass and fresh mint. The palate is generous and layered, balancing tropical sweetness with the high, graceful acidity that gives mature Chenin its poise. Long and luscious without becoming cloying, it suits blue cheese, baked apple or lightly spiced pâté.
Mountainview Brewing Co. Cranberry Sauced Sour 473 mL
Light, effervescent and notably dry, this gently soured beer places vivid cranberry at the centre. Belgian yeast builds a softly fruity foundation, while elderflower adds a delicate floral lift through the finish. The result is bright and focused rather than sweet. Serve cold with goat cheese, roast turkey, charcuterie, winter salads, fried chicken or cranberry-glazed pork.
Moutard 2002 Brut Millésimé Champagne
White flowers and bright citrus open a powerful, composed nose. The palate is full and structured but finely balanced, with mature breadth held in line by persistent freshness. Citrus returns on the long, measured finish, giving the wine lift despite its scale. Best served with lobster, roast poultry, creamy mushroom dishes or a selection of aged cheeses.
Movia 2015 Puro Rosé Sparkling Wine
Orange peel, ripe peach and raspberry lead with redcurrant, rose and wild mint. The palate is dry and softly textured, its fine bubbles carrying juicy red fruit over pronounced mineral salinity. Roasted almond, butter and rye-bread crust bring savoury depth to the intense, refreshing Brut Nature finish.
Mt. Boucherie 2017 Summit 3 L
Black cherry, cassis and dark plum form a generous core, layered with anise, cigar leaf and measured oak spice. The palate is full and concentrated, yet fresh enough to keep the ripe fruit and velvety tannins in balance. Structured for further development, it is equally compelling now beside roast beef, lamb, venison or a deeply savoury mushroom dish.
Mt. Boucherie 2022 Original Vines Chardonnay
Delicate orchard fruit and almond open the nose, joined by lemon, peach and orange blossom. The palate adds pineapple, fresh bread and a subtle touch of French oak spice, all carried by citrus-tinged acidity. Layered yet approachable, it brings gentle richness and lift together, finishing with the polish and definition of a carefully balanced Chardonnay.
Mt. Boucherie 2022 Original Vines Semillon
Intriguing and layered, with ripe pear and honey bringing richness to a lean, focused frame. A savoury orange note runs through the finish, lending brightness and definition to the wine's generous core. The contrast between intensity and restraint gives the palate a sophisticated shape, with enough texture to feel substantial without losing its clarity.
Muddler’s Vodka Mule 6 × 355 mL
Fresh-pressed ginger brings a vivid, warming spice, balanced by zesty lime and the clean backbone of premium vodka. The palate is lively and refreshing, with enough sweetness to round the ginger without dulling its bite. A crisp citrus finish keeps the classic mule profile focused and easy to drink. Serve thoroughly chilled straight from the can, or pour over crushed ice in a copper mug with a fresh lime wedge.
Mulderbosch 2025 Sauvignon Blanc Western Cape
Guava, ripe lemon and blackcurrant open with aromatic fynbos notes of lavender, thyme and oregano. The palate is vivid and refreshing, balancing juicy tropical fruit with clean acidity and a dry herbal line. Bright citrus carries the energetic finish. Serve well chilled with seafood, green vegetables, goat cheese or herb-led dishes.
Mullineux Olerasay No. 2 Solera-Aged Straw Wine 375 mL
Baked apricot, honeysuckle and marmalade rise from a deep golden glass, followed by honeyed richness and a gentle nutty edge. The palate is intensely concentrated yet held in balance by vivid acidity, so the natural sweetness feels bright rather than heavy. A long, layered finish carries dried fruit and citrus peel. Serve lightly chilled with hazelnut tart, blue cheese or fruit-based desserts; a small pour is ample.
Mural de Favaios Moscatel do Douro
Floral aromas, honey and toasted apple lead a fresh, expressive bouquet, with marmalade and citrus peel adding depth. The palate is sweet yet balanced, combining smooth texture with bright aromatic lift and a poised, elegant finish. Serve well chilled as an aperitif, with fruit-based desserts or alongside a plate of toasted almonds.
Musso 2017 Pora Barbaresco DOCG
Blue flower, baked plum and pipe tobacco lead a full, concentrated nose. The palate is firm but polished, layering dried cherry, steeped prune and liquorice over fine-grained tannins. Structured and composed, it balances savoury depth with measured fruit, carrying the darker notes through a persistent, clean finish.
