Deep ruby moving toward garnet at the rim, with a concentrated nose of ripe blackberry, blackcurrant and cherry, layered with licorice, graphite and a restrained balsamic note. Full and assured on the palate, it balances generous dark fruit with fine, rounded tannins. The finish is long, polished and distinctly fruit-led.
