About Masseria Li Veli
Masseria Li Veli stands in Salento, between the Adriatic and Ionian seas, where Marquis Antonio de Viti de Marco built the estate in the late nineteenth century as a model for Apulian winegrowing. The Falvo family arrived in 1999; brothers Edoardo and Alfredo took full ownership in 2008 and now manage the estate with their cousin Alessandro.
In the estate’s vineyards, local grape varieties are grown on bush-trained vines in sandy, clay-rich and limestone soils. The Askos project is devoted to researching and championing native grapes.
