Medicinal herbs, liquorice and dark forest berries shape a savoury, distinctly southern French nose. The palate is juicy and well composed, with ripe balsamic tannins supporting Grenache and Syrah fruit rather than weighing it down. Dark berry depth, herbal freshness and a gently resinous note carry into a charming, persistent finish. Serve with lamb, cassoulet, grilled sausages or aged cheese.
