Ripe cherry and raspberry mingle with dark fruit, rosemary and a touch of liquorice. This Sangiovese has a generous, supple palate, with fine tannins and lively acidity keeping its richness in balance. Earthy spice, tobacco and leather add a savoury dimension to the long finish, while the fruit remains at the centre.

About Casanova di Neri
Giovanni Neri founded Casanova di Neri in 1971 after buying Podere Casanova on Montalcino’s eastern side and recognizing its potential for Sangiovese. The estate bottled its first Rosso in 1977 and produced its first Brunello the following year, establishing the White Label that remains part of the house today. Giacomo Neri joined full time in 1986 and assumed leadership in 1991; Giovanni, Gianlorenzo and Marianna have since brought a third generation into the family business.
Seven vineyards across the Montalcino appellation give the estate a broad palette of altitudes, exposures, soils and microclimates. At the hillside cellar, fruit is selected by hand and optical sorting before gravity carries it onward to fermentation.
