Blackberry, mulberry and cassis meet fresh herbs, liquorice, dark chocolate and a subtle smoky spice. The palate is full-flavoured yet supple, with raspberry and plum carried by velvety tannins into a savoury olive-and-herb finish. Serve with braised meats, pappardelle or grilled lamb.

About Mitolo
The Mitolo family brought its farming traditions from Abruzzo to Australia in the 1950s. Their McLaren Vale wine project made its first Shiraz in 2000, followed by Cabernet Sauvignon in 2002. Italian grape varieties later joined the range in a nod to the family’s origins.
Fruit comes principally from the southern districts of Sellicks Hill, Aldinga and Whites Valley, where warm days are moderated by sea breezes and winds from the ranges.
