Cognac Drouet Paradis de Famille Hors d’Âge Grande Champagne 700 mL
$379.99
Dark copper in colour, with an aromatic bouquet of rancio, ripe plum and citrus over cedar, cigar box and tobacco. Cinnamon and polished wood bring warm spice without obscuring the fruit. The palate is powerful but notably mellow, with a velvety texture and quiet liquorice depth. The finish is enduring and composed, carrying candied fruit, tobacco and seasoned oak.

About Cognac Drouet
Cognac Drouet traces its estate history to 1848, when Jean L’Homme established the property near Salles-d’Angles, south of Cognac. Successive generations assembled vineyards and developed distillation, with Monique and Gérard Drouet beginning their own Grande Champagne production in 1969. Corinne and Patrick Drouet run the estate, growing grapes, distilling and maturing Cognac on the property.
The vineyards lie in both Grande and Petite Champagne. Traditional copper stills installed in 1987 remain central to the cellar, where Patrick serves as distiller and cellar master.
