Blackberry and blueberry meet liquorice, pepper and a hint of mocha in this generous Barossa Shiraz. The palate is rich and mouthfilling, held together by supple, fine-grained tannins. Smoky oak and warm spice frame the fruit, while a savoury edge keeps the finish in balance. A substantial red for braised beef or a pepper-crusted steak.

About Glaetzer
The Glaetzer family's Barossa history dates to 1888. Colin Glaetzer established the winery after thirty years of winemaking, focusing on red wines, and his son Ben leads the cellar. Amon-Ra, first made in 2001, became the flagship wine.
The fruit comes from Ebenezer, where long-established growers tend old, often dry-grown vines in sandy clay loam over limestone. The cellar's methods include extended contact with the grape skins and maturation in French and American oak barrels.
