Black tea and plum preserve lead the nose, joined by toasted almond and a smoky, briny edge. Exceptionally dense and oily in texture, the palate stays unexpectedly bright, with citrus lifting honeyed plum. Dried fruit, nuts and mineral tones build through a remarkably complex finish that feels poised rather than simply sweet.

About Oremus
The Álvarez family founded Tokaj-Oremus in 1993 at Tolcsva, in northeastern Hungary’s Tokaj-Hegyalja region. A modern winery completed in 1999 connects to a labyrinth of underground cellars whose origins reach back to the 13th century.
Oremus makes both noble-rot sweet wines and dry whites, with Furmint playing a role in both.
