Deep maroon in colour, this Merlot combines plum and leather aromas with coffee and mocha flavours. Dates, black cherry and black liquorice appear in a long, lingering finish. The wine spends twenty-one months in French oak and another eighteen months in bottle. Its texture is polished, while blackcurrant, blackberry, tobacco, lingonberry, spice and earth are also present in the profile.
