Deeply coloured and cool-climate in character, with black peppercorn, savoury grilled herbs and game-meat notes over dark fruit. The palate is elegant and refined rather than heavy, combining bright acidity with firm, structured tannins and layered complexity. A mature, cellar-built Syrah that suits pepper-crusted steak, roast lamb or grilled mushrooms.

About Le Vieux Pin
Le Vieux Pin’s first vintage was 2005, from its Oliver estate on the Black Sage Bench. Named for the solitary old pine on the property, the winery draws on French wine traditions and South Okanagan fruit.
Séverine Pinte joined in 2010 and now serves as winemaker, viticulturist and managing partner. Her work combines low-input vineyard farming with a non-interventionist approach in the cellar. Syrah and white Rhône varieties are central to the wines.
