Layered blackcurrant, blackberry and raspberry meet bramble, baking spice, liquorice and graphite. Rich and expressive, the palate combines dense fruit with fresh acidity and fine-grained tannins. Cedar and mineral tones emerge through the long, elegant finish, giving the wine both maturity and poise. Serve with roast beef, lamb or aged cheddar.

About Clos du Soleil
Clos du Soleil is a small artisan estate on the Upper Bench of British Columbia’s South Similkameen Valley. Founded in 2006, it takes inspiration from Bordeaux in a landscape of rocky soils, long sunlight and surrounding mountains.
Its four estate vineyards are certified organic and farmed biodynamically. Winemaker and co-owner Michael Clark trained at UC Davis and worked in wineries in Switzerland and Bordeaux.
