Jura Elixir 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Crushed almond and roasted coffee frame bright pineapple and fresh citrus. The palate is rounded but lively, moving through orange, lemon and lime before sherried fruit and vanilla oak add depth. Delicate smoke stays in the background. The finish is measured and warming, leaving dark toffee, ginger spice, dried fruit and a final trace of chocolate.

About Isle of Jura Distillery
Jura’s island distillery was established in 1810, closed in 1901 and returned to production after a rebuild in 1963. The beachside distillery draws its water from Market Loch and uses exceptionally tall stills. For its Seven Wood bottling, whisky starts in ex-bourbon casks before being divided among six types of French-oak cask.
