Jura Prophecy Heavily Peated Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Floral heather and Brazil nut rise through peat smoke, salty air and a briny maritime note. The palate is oily and assertive, combining smoky bacon, liquorice and dried fruit with maple sweetness and dark cocoa. The smoke remains structured rather than blunt. The finish is long and mineral, leaving iodine, char, salt and a restrained touch of toffee.

About Isle of Jura Distillery
Jura’s island distillery was established in 1810, closed in 1901 and returned to production after a rebuild in 1963. The beachside distillery draws its water from Market Loch and uses exceptionally tall stills. For its Seven Wood bottling, whisky starts in ex-bourbon casks before being divided among six types of French-oak cask.
