Peat smoke and seaweed lead with iodine, citrus and a touch of honey. The palate is oily and expansive, balancing medicinal smoke with caramelised sweetness, toasted cereal and warming chilli. Smaller cask influence brings concentrated oak without burying the fruit. The finish is long and shifting, leaving smoke, salted caramel, citrus peel, liquorice and a firm spicy edge.
