First-fill Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks give this Islay single malt a dense, dark-fruited character. Raisin, salted caramel, malted chocolate and burnt orange peel lead into sea salt, coffee, spice and measured smoke. The palate is full-bodied and richly layered, with cherry and chocolate extending through a maritime finish. Serve neat and allow time in the glass.
