Long Shadows Vintners 2007 Saggi Sangiovese Cabernet Blend Columbia Valley
$99.99
Plum, dried flowers and black cherry lead with cedar, licorice, pepper and Asian spice. Lush and broad on the palate, the red blend combines supple texture with lively inner energy, layering cassis, red fruit and floral detail over fine-grained tannins. Savoury depth and measured oak carry the concentrated fruit into a long, polished finish.

About Long Shadows Vintners
Allen Shoup founded Long Shadows Vintners in 2002 after two decades leading Chateau Ste Michelle. He invited winemakers from around the world to become co-owners of individual wines made from Columbia Valley grapes. Gilles Nicault brought training in southern France and experience in Washington dating to 1994.
Construction of the Walla Walla winery began in 2005, with space and equipment designed around the team’s different fermentation, barrel and blending preferences. The original partners are no longer directly involved in production; Nicault continues their work, carrying forward the methods developed for each wine.
