The palate is supple and silky, balancing generous blueberry fruit with dried spice, savoury depth and finely woven tannins. Full-bodied yet graceful, it carries lively acidity and quiet mineral tension into a long, plush finish.

About Guigal
Étienne Guigal founded Maison Guigal in Ampuis in 1946 after beginning his Rhône career at Vidal-Fleury. His son Marcel took charge in 1961, and Philippe and Eve Guigal now represent the family’s third generation.
From its Côte-Rôtie home, the house makes wine across both the northern and southern Rhône. Château d’Ampuis became the family headquarters in 1995, and a barrel-making workshop opened there in 2003.
