Estate-grown Riesling comes from Goose Ridge Vineyard in Washington State’s Columbia Valley. The valley and its surrounding rivers were formed during the Ice Age, and wind-blown soils leave a cap of stones on hilltops. The broader estate lies on a gentle site near Benton City, beside Red Mountain, with long hot days, cool nights and minimal growing-season rain.
