Fresh plum and cherry meet subtle bell pepper, graphite and spice, giving the nose a savoury, precise character. The palate is focused rather than heavy, with taut acidity, fine structure and measured oak bringing gentle polish. Red fruit and spice carry through an elegant, persistent finish.

About Finca Decero
Finca Decero began as Thomas Schmidheiny's decision to build an Argentine wine estate from scratch in Agrelo, at the southern edge of Mendoza's Luján de Cuyo district. Its entire vineyard occupies one site at roughly 1,050 metres. Alluvial and colluvial soils vary across Remolinos Vineyard, named for the small whirlwinds that form there.
The vineyard is divided into mapped plots according to soil and growing conditions. The plots are managed and vinified separately.
