Bright straw in colour, with green apple, peach and flowers joined by dried fruit, lemon zest, toast and gentle spice. Dry and medium-bodied, the palate balances pear, lemon and grapefruit with light butter and brioche. Fine, persistent bubbles and lively acidity keep the texture crisp, fresh and composed through the finish.

About Reichsrat von Buhl
Reichsrat von Buhl was founded in 1849 when the Jordan estate was divided into three wineries. Based in Deidesheim, it farms vineyards in Deidesheim and Forst, where the soils include sandstone, basalt, limestone and loam. Riesling dominates the plantings, alongside Spätburgunder and smaller parcels of Scheurebe and Rieslaner. The estate farms organically and takes part in regional nature-protection work.
