Blackberry, blackcurrant and dark plum are lifted by violet, cranberry and a touch of citrus freshness. Liquorice, cistus, rosemary and incense add savoury aromatic detail. The palate is powerful and concentrated, yet the mineral line and bright acidity keep the sweetness controlled through a long finish. Decant for sediment and serve in small pours with blue cheese, dark chocolate or walnuts.
