About Domaine de la Pépière
Marc Ollivier created Domaine de la Pépière in 1984 at Maisdon-sur-Sèvre, taking the name from the hamlet where he grew up. Rémi Branger and Gwénaëlle Croix now lead the domaine. The estate has grown through purchases of old-vine parcels, with vineyards on granite, gneiss and gabbro. The vines are farmed using organic and biodynamic methods. For the Muscadets, hand-harvested grapes ferment with native yeasts in underground vats, and the wines age on their lees.
