Made entirely from Mondeuse, this red wine undergoes carbonic maceration as whole clusters and ferments with indigenous yeasts. Ageing lasts twelve months in tank and 500-litre demi-muids. The six-hectare estate lies near Belley, west of the Massif des Bauges in Savoie. Its clay-limestone parcels are cultivated according to biodynamic practices. The finished wine contains 10.5 percent alcohol.

About Les Cortis
Isabelle and Jérémy Decoster established Domaine Les Cortis in 2016 at Andert-et-Condon, near Belley in the Bugey. Before returning to build his own estate, Jérémy worked in Chablis with growers including Agnès and Olivier De Moor and Lilian Duplessis. Their six hectares lie around 500 metres above sea level, spread across small clay-limestone parcels in Bugey’s Alpine foothills.
The vineyards are worked organically by hand, with biodynamic practices. Mondeuse, Gamay, Chardonnay and Altesse share the domaine with smaller plantings, while whole-cluster reds and gently handled whites are shaped according to parcel and vintage.
