Cloudy amber in the glass, with lime, mango, grapefruit and pineapple joined by rose oil, blossom and clove. The palate is dry and tactile, balancing fine tannins and citrus-pith bite with lively freshness and a savoury tea-like note. Serve lightly chilled with aromatic curries, roast pork, grilled vegetables or washed-rind cheese.

About Weingut Malat
Michael Malat makes the wines at his family’s estate in Furth-Palt, in Austria’s Kremstal. The cellars have eighteenth-century origins, while the nearby vineyards lie on deep loess, weathered rock and old Danube gravel. Grüner Veltliner and Riesling lead a range that includes reds, traditional-method sparkling wine and skin-fermented wines under the RAW name.
