Plush yet composed, with lively black raspberry and black plum leading into darker cherry and a subtle mocha note. The palate is rich and full flavoured, carried by silky tannins into a dry, earthy finish touched by forest floor, smoke and savoury umami. Its generous fruit remains precise, with enough structure to reward a little more time in bottle.

About Blue Mountain
Ian and Jane Mavety began assembling the Okanagan Falls property behind Blue Mountain Vineyard and Cellars in 1971. After roughly two decades growing grapes for other wineries, they bottled the first Blue Mountain vintage in 1991.
The second generation includes winemaker Matt Mavety and Christie Mavety in winegrowing and the business. Vineyard and cellar work centre on the same South Okanagan estate, which produces both still and sparkling wines.
