Fresh cherry and cranberry lead, with cinnamon, clove and a gentle earthy note adding lift. The palate is bright and easy-moving, carrying crunchy red fruit through lively acidity and light, supple tannins. Serve slightly cool with tomato-based pasta, grilled peppers, pizza, roast poultry or a simple plate of charcuterie.

About Broc Cellars
Chris Brockway began with a single barrel in 2002, launched Broc Cellars commercially in 2004 and moved the winery to Berkeley’s Gilman district in 2008. He began buying fruit from Fox Hill Vineyard in Mendocino in 2013, took over its farming in 2021 and bought the property with a partner in 2023.
Broc works with organically farmed grapes, picking early and fermenting with native yeasts and bacteria without fermentation additives. A small amount of sulfur may be added at bottling when needed. At Fox Hill, cover crops and grazing sheep help care for the vineyard.
