Domaines Bunan 2020 Belouve Rouge

$44.99

A supple southern French red with red cherry, plum and wild berry fruit, followed by violet, licorice and gentle spice. The palate is medium-bodied and rounded, with modest tannin and a fresh savoury line that keeps the ripe fruit in balance. Approachable but not simple, it works especially well with charcuterie, grilled sausages, roast vegetables or an informal midweek supper.

About Domaines Bunan
Paul and Pierre Bunan founded their family estate at La Cadière-d'Azur in 1961, carrying forward the winegrowing tradition of their parents, Félix and Lucie. Moulin des Costes was joined by Château la Rouvière in 1969 and the restored Bélouvé vineyard in 1978. Together, these three properties form Domaines Bunan. Organic cultivation began in 2008. The team harvests selectively as the different parcels reach ripeness. Mourvèdre is central to the estate's work on limestone-rich land in and around Bandol.
