Bright gold in colour, with rich vanilla and exotic orchard-fruit aromas. The palate is floral and concentrated, with semi-tropical fruit, racy acidity, generous youthful fruit and balanced volume. Most vines are at least forty years old. The wine sees no wood ageing. Ripe lemon, white peach, wet stone, crushed herbs, salinity and hazelnut are also present.

About Domaine Chevrot
From Cheilly-lès-Maranges at the southern edge of the Côte de Beaune, brothers Pablo and Vincent lead Domaine Chevrot. They work about eighteen hectares across Maranges, Santenay and neighboring appellations, with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Aligoté sharing the landscape.
The brothers began the estate's organic certification process in 2008, and the domaine is now certified organic. They use cover crops and compost, with horses working selected vineyard parcels. Fermentations begin with native yeasts.
