Cabernet Sauvignon combines fruit from Oakville, Rutherford, St. Helena and Howell Mountain. The wine has brilliant concentration and balance, with generous tannins and balanced acidity. Black cherry, black olive, charcoal, black pepper, herbs and black fruit appear in a complex profile. Menthol, boysenberry, blackberry compote, liquorice and earth accompany a velvety feel and a long finish.

About Heitz Cellar
Joe and Alice Heitz founded Heitz Cellar in 1961. Its 1966 Martha’s Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon became Napa’s first vineyard-designated wine. The Lawrence family acquired the estate in 2018.
The estate’s vineyards span six Napa Valley sub-appellations, from mountain and benchland sites to the valley floor. Organic farming is central to the estate. For its Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, vineyard lots are fermented and aged separately before blending. This wine receives extended ageing in oak and bottle.
