Cooked agave leads the aroma, followed by vanilla, caramel and gentle spice. Four months in single-use bourbon barrels bring a subtle layer of toasted oak without obscuring the spirit’s fresh agave character. The palate is creamy and lightly sweet, with honey and citrus adding lift. A clean, balanced finish brings together oak, baking spice and a final note of roasted agave.

Francisco Bañuelos makes NODO agave spirits in El Teúl, Zacatecas. His family has worked with agave distillation since the 1970s. The family oversees the cooking, fermentation and distillation of Agave tequilana Weber.
