Honey and crème brûlée open the nose, followed by orange peel, rye spice and a faint yeasty note. The palate is grain-forward and concentrated, with dark chocolate, anise and black pepper building over firm oak. Burnt sugar and cedar add depth while a light floral tone keeps the structure from feeling heavy. Made from a rye-only mash, it carries the grain’s dry, assertive character clearly. The finish turns toward cola, molasses and warming spice. Serve neat or in a spirit-forward Manhattan.
