Les Lunes 2022 North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon

Dark fruit, cassis, cherry, leather, dried herbs and olives accompany fresh acidity, firm tannins and a long finish. Cabernet Sauvignon comes from organically and regeneratively farmed vineyards across Napa and Sonoma counties. The fruit is fully destemmed, with separate spontaneous fermentation in neutral oak and polyethylene. The wine is aged in those vessels and bottled without fining or filtration.

About Les Lunes
Les Lunes began in 2014 when Shaunt Oungoulian and Diego Roig farmed 200 Pinot Noir vines in a friend’s California backyard. That modest start grew into a hands-on project managing leased vineyard sites across Napa and Sonoma, with both partners responsible for the work from pruning and cover crops through harvest.
They make Les Lunes wines from sites they farm themselves, working in their own Richmond cellar. They farm organically, using compost and cover crops with the aim of preserving the soil’s native microbial life.
