Dark plum, blueberry and a light touch of spearmint appear in the aromas. The medium-bodied palate is easy-drinking, with blackberry jam, black cherry and sweet liquorice. The wine is bright and vivacious, with mild tannin. The finish is bold and fruit-driven. The Zinfandel comes from British Columbia’s Similkameen Valley and received a bronze medal at the National Wine Awards of Canada.
