Deep gold and richly layered, with candied apricot, honeyed fig and marmalade opening into toasted almond, saffron and gentle oak. The palate is concentrated yet composed, balancing dried lemon peel, pear and marzipan with mature earthy detail. Fresh acidity keeps the sweetness precise. The finish is long and persistent, carrying honey, vanilla, citrus and a subtle savoury lift.

About Château Rieussec
In the eighteenth century, Château Rieussec belonged to the Carmelites of Langon. Ranked a First Growth of Sauternes in 1855, the estate was acquired by Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite in 1984.
Sémillon dominates the plantings, supported by Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle. For its Sauternes, pickers make successive passes through the vines, selecting grapes as noble rot develops. The grapes are sorted and fermented in barrels.
