Ripe blackberry, plum and raspberry lead a generous, full-bodied palate, with peppery spice and a subtle herbal edge adding lift. Smooth, supple tannins keep the blend approachable, while the dark fruit remains fresh enough for the table. The finish is warm, savoury and easygoing. Serve slightly cool with grilled sausages, lamb burgers, roast vegetables or tomato-rich pasta.

About Lavau
Formerly from St Emilion, the Lavau Family has been involved in winemaking for several generations. They have been making wine in the Rhône Valley for 40 years. Today the cellar is managed by brothers Benoit and Frederic Lavau. The goal from the beginning has been simple: produce classic, engaging yet affordable wines that are approachable whilst retaining that traditional refined aesthetic associated with French Wine.
