A fragrant, finely structured Pinot Noir with sour cherry, cranberry, ripe strawberry and raspberry at the centre. Pepper, dried herbs and graphite add savoury definition as the wine opens. Bright acidity drives the palate, while dusty, fine-grained tannins give youthful density and length. A brief decant brings out its detail; serve with salmon, roast poultry or mushroom dishes.

About 1 Mill Road
1 Mill Road began with David and Cynthia Enns, who bought a former pear orchard on Mill Road for one million dollars and planted the Home Block to Dijon 115 Pinot Noir. Ben Bryant and Katie Truscott acquired the winery in 2022; its wines are now made at the Naramata Wine Vault.
Its Pinot Noir range is organized around individual vineyard sites. Home Block is the estate parcel; Black Pine Vineyard on the Naramata Bench has four Pinot clones growing in dry granite soils.
