Vermentino and Colombard are grown on limestone and red-clay soils in a one-hectare vineyard, whose vines average twenty years of age. The grapes are harvested by hand and ferment spontaneously in concrete tanks with indigenous yeasts. Ageing continues in tank, without fining, filtration or added sulphur. Cantaloupe, citrus, soft texture and energy define this biodynamically farmed white blend.

About Autour de l’Anne
Anne Paillet came to wine by an unorthodox route: touring with British bands, a spell in corporate life, and then a serious car accident that prompted a change of direction. She created Autour de l’Anne in 2011 and developed a project she calls “Loiredoc,” bringing together the warmth of Languedoc fruit and the cooler cellar conditions of the Loire.
The grapes come from organically farmed vines around Corconne and are harvested by hand. Fermentation begins in Languedoc with native yeasts; the young wines then travel north to Touraine for ageing. Paillet often plays on her name in her wine labels.
