This dry white is produced and bottled by Quinta da Pacheca in Portugal’s Douro region. The estate is among the Douro properties long associated with bottling wine under its own label. About Quinta da Pacheca
Quinta da Pacheca’s vineyards in the Douro appear in records dating to 1551. Its name comes from the family of Mariana Pacheco Pereira and is recorded from 1738. José Freire de Serpa Pimentel acquired the property in 1903. Based in Cambres near Lamego, Pacheca makes both Douro table wines and Port, with traditional lagares, or open winemaking vats, still part of its cellar work.
