Santa Julia 2023 La Oveja Natural Torrontés

$33.99

White peach, rose petals and jasmine lead, followed by a lift of lemon peel. The palate is dry and refreshing, with bright acidity and a faintly tannic texture from skin contact. Floral fruit and citrus carry through the clean, lively finish.

About Bodega Santa Julia
Santa Julia grew from the Zuccardi family's 1963 vineyard in Maipú, planted by engineer Alberto 'Tito' Zuccardi to demonstrate an irrigation system he had designed for Mendoza. The winery was named for José Zuccardi's only daughter, Julia. A small experimental winery opened in 1997, and successive generations kept using Santa Julia as a place to explore unfamiliar grape varieties and new ways of working. Composting, organic vineyard programmes, education, childcare and community initiatives have developed alongside the wines. A natural-wine line arrived in 2020.
