About Château Pavie-Decesse
Gérard Perse acquired Château Pavie-Decesse in 1997. Merlot dominates its small vineyard on Saint-Émilion’s limestone plateau, with Cabernet Franc planted alongside in clay-limestone soils. The estate’s winemaking combines hand picking and sorting with fermentation in small wooden vats, followed by ageing in new oak.
