Raspberry, cherry, rose and violet appear in a silky, floral Pinot Noir with a soft, juicy frame, fine texture, low tannins and a graceful finish. The grapes are fully destemmed. Fermentation begins twenty-four hours after vatting and lasts ten to twelve days. Maturation lasts twelve to eighteen months in French oak, with thirty percent new barrels. The wine is classified as Vin de France.

Domaine A.F. Gros was founded by Anne-Francoise Gros, a member of the esteemed Gros family of Burgundy, whose winemaking roots date back generations. Today, the estate is guided by Anne-Françoise and her children, Caroline and Mathias, who bring a modern sensibility to the family’s winemaking tradition.
Based in Pommard, A.F. Gros produces refined, small-production wines from some of Burgundy’s most coveted appellations, including Vosne-Romanee, Echezeaux, and Pommard.
