Amber in colour, with crystallized fruit and a distinguished, mature nose. The palate is subtle and smooth, showing gentle wood alongside violet, cinnamon, caramel and dried stone fruit. Long ageing in old casks gives the texture a notably velvety feel while preserving lift and perfume. Serve neat in a tulip-shaped glass, allowing a few minutes for the aromatics to unfold.
