Chateau Lafite Rothschild 2013 Pauillac
$1,888.99
Fine-boned and restrained, with tobacco, cassis and crushed gravel leading into fresh red cherry. The palate is medium-bodied and polished, favouring clarity and precision over weight. Firm but refined tannins frame the fruit, while subtle cedar and mineral notes give the wine a classical, savoury shape. The finish is clean and measured, tapering through cherry, tobacco and cool stone with an understated, composed persistence.

About Château Lafite Rothschild
Château Lafite Rothschild was documented as a wine-producing property by 1234 and was ranked a First Growth in the 1855 Bordeaux classification. Baron James de Rothschild acquired the Pauillac estate in 1868, beginning more than 150 years of stewardship by successive family generations. Saskia de Rothschild became chairwoman of Domaines Barons de Rothschild in 2018, representing the sixth generation. The vineyard’s gravel and clay regulate water around a subtle rise known historically as La Hite, while the grand vin is matured in French oak made by the group’s own Pauillac cooperage.
